Senior Java Developer

Together with your colleagues, you’ll be running a SaaS platform consisting of a variety of closely interrelated services. This can include administrative as well as development tasks, in which you’d be responsible for multifarious and dynamic use cases, and sometimes involved in the DevOps process. The platform is run worldwide in several highly-available data centres and is being adapted and extended continuously. It is used for the management of data and maps use cases based on customer requirements in the Automotive Mobility Services sector. The server components are based primarily on Java/Spring Boot and the Frontend Development on TypeScript/ Angular.

Your tasks:

• Analysis, design and documentation of various approaches towards solution architecture
• Implementation, testing and deployment of backend systems
• Integration of internal and external interfaces
• Problem analysis as well as troubleshooting of occurring bugs and malfunctions
• Testing and deployment using our CI/CD setups
• Mentoring of your colleagues through Code Reviews, Pair Programming, etc.
• Putting forward own ideas and suggestions for improvement

Your personal profile shows:

• Interest and enthusiasm for complex software systems
• Willingness to work independently
• Several years of experience in development with Java EE/ Spring Boot
• Good knowledge in SQL, JPA and UML
• A talent for structured, comprehensibly documented and maintainable code
• Everyday communication in German is easy for you and you don’t have any issues leading some meetings in English
• Maybe you are even interested in technical processes in the automotive field (Connected Car) and IoT
